The External Quality and Accreditation Committee (EQAC) at Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology (BFCET) is constituted with the objective of ensuring continuous improvement, academic excellence, and institutional readiness for national and international accreditation benchmarks. The Committee functions as an external advisory and monitoring body to assess, guide, and strengthen the institution’s overall quality assurance framework in alignment with the principles of NEP 2020 and regulatory standards set by bodies such as NAAC, NBA, and AICTE.The EQAC plays a pivotal role in evaluating academic processes, research outputs, infrastructure adequacy, and stakeholder engagement mechanisms. It reviews the implementation of quality enhancement initiatives, curriculum design and revision, faculty development programs, student support systems, and extension activities. The Committee provides strategic recommendations for the introduction of new programs, industry-academia collaborations, and global partnerships.
