Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology library has a collection of over 17065 Volumes of reference, textbooks related to engineering and allied subjects. The library is automated with integrated library management software e-Granthalaya well-stocked and AC. The library amazingly rich collection contains E-resources, Textbooks, Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, and General books including novels. All transactions of books are done through smart cards. The library also subscribes to all the latest Journals and informative current affairs magazines.   

The library boasts a diverse collection, encompassing over 216 national and international technical e-journals, as well as a comprehensive online database including full-text resources like IEEE and e-Books. For those who prefer traditional formats, 21 print journals and 8 magazines are also on offer. 

The reading room is thoughtfully furnished, accommodating a considerable number of students simultaneously while providing an ideal setting for focused study. Moreover, the library features an exclusive reference section, catering to those seeking in-depth information. The library’s commitment to visitor interaction is evident through the meticulously maintained visitor’s book.

Newly arrived books and journals enjoy a dedicated display area, showcased prominently on stands and racks. Offering modern convenience, the library extends a Web OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) facility. This empowers users to explore the library’s vast collection by searching for titles, authors, and domains from any location.

Additionally, the library’s webpage provides direct access to a range of scholarly open access journals and databases. To cater to the digital era, the library houses a well-equipped Digital Library, complete with nodes featuring Internet connectivity. This setup ensures that students can readily access e-Resources, benefiting from multi-user access tied to IP addresses, thereby enabling seamless exploration of e-journals in the Library
