School of Competitive Studies

Talking about job readiness, employability & 100% placements, lot of efforts have been made to make our technical students employable. However, making the students of other non-technical courses like social sciences & life sciences, employable, had always been a big challenge for the country. However through our upcoming University model, BFGI intends to follow an integrated approach to ensure 100% employability across all the courses by setting up “School of Competitive Studies”, it is one of the main pillars of our upcoming University model. Under this school, students are trained for various competitive exams of Government (State & Central) & Private sector for the position starting from clerical level to the allied service positions such as Punjab Civil Services (PCS) as per the capacity & learning adaptability of the students.

We believe that each & every individual student, whether from Science stream, Arts, Commerce or social sciences, has to crack various competitive exams to enter a whole new world of ample opportunities and bountiful possibilities. So, we have to equipped the youth with the latest know how and hone their technical as well as competitive skills so that they can compete in various spheres of business and industry, Civil Services, Banking sector, PTET, UGC NET, SSC, FCI, PUNSUP, Managerial, Industrial, Private and Government sector competitions & examinations to evolve in this seamless world.

School of Competitive Studies has also created Help Desk to inform the students about various opened Govt. job positions as well as to enable them to fill the forms in order to apply for these job positions independently. Besides training in computer skills, Study material & assignments are being provided to the students by using Google apps. School of Competitive Studies is providing all its services absolutely free of cost. Our motto is to groom our students to aspire & excel in all types of competitions. Under this school we conduct free online tests of students on weekly basis to enhance the performance of students & also to make them familiar with pattern of Exams, regular debates, discussions, presentations, quizzes, role-plays, face to face dialogues; question-answer practices, interaction and peer learning are part of the regular curriculum and actual class room activities. Cyclic Teaching Methodology is being adopted throughout the year.
