BFCET offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Engineering, Sciences, Agriculture, Commerce, and Management, making it a multidisciplinary hub that bridges technology, science, and entrepreneurship. The institution is supported by a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty who combine academic excellence with real-world exposure to deliver outcome-based education.
The campus boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, smart classrooms, and advanced computing facilities that provide an ideal environment for innovation and experiential learning. BFCET places strong emphasis on hands-on training, live projects, and industry exposure, ensuring that students develop both technical competence and professional confidence.
In its pursuit of research and innovation, BFCET has achieved remarkable milestones, including the filing of over 65 patents across various domains. The college has forged collaborations with leading institutions such as AIIMS Bathinda, Central University of Punjab (CUPB), and IIT Ropar, enabling joint research projects, faculty exchange, and technology development.
To further strengthen industry linkages and innovation, BFCET has established several Centres of Excellence (CoEs) in Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR), Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Fuji, and AICTE IDEA Lab. These centres act as platforms for students and faculty to work on cutting-edge technologies and real-time industrial problems, bridging the gap between academics and application.
Promoting entrepreneurship and innovation is integral to BFCET’s ecosystem. The Baba Farid School of Entrepreneurship (BFSoE), the institution’s incubation centre, nurtures startup ventures and provides mentoring, funding, and networking support to budding entrepreneurs. The centre has already facilitated multiple startups, some of which have emerged from faculty and student research projects.
Beyond academics, BFCET fosters holistic development through vibrant student clubs, cultural events, and community engagement initiatives. The college actively participates in national programs like Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and Jan Chetna Abhiyan, emphasizing social responsibility and rural innovation.
With its strong foundation, visionary leadership, and commitment to excellence, Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology continues to redefine quality education in North India. It strives to produce competent, ethical, and innovative professionals who are ready to contribute meaningfully to society and drive India’s growth in science, technology, and entrepreneurship.
