Design of Digital Circuit using multisim Software by Er. Jagtar Singh (25 March, 2011)

Digital Signal Processing Using Matlab by Dr. AP Singh (15 March, 2011)
With an endeavor to expose our students to upcoming trends in technology and practical knowledge on the trends, BFCET (Baba Farid College of Engineering & Technology) had organized several guest lectures by inviting people from different walks of life and to continue with this series, Dept. of ECE, BFCET organized a guest lecture on 15th March. 2011. Dr. A.P Singh was the resource person, who enlightened the students on the topic “Digital Signal Processing using MATLAB Software”.

Dr. A.P. Singh is a Professor and Head, Electronics & Communication Department at SLIET, Longowal (Sangrur). The topic was mainly focused on how MATALAB software can be used in each field of engineering. This software was developed by “MATRIX LABORTARY”.

It was the wonderful opportunity for students to learn a powerful tool which helps to design and stimulated different type of circuit and its behavior. It helped the students to design different type of waveform as per their requirement.

Mr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, Managing Director, BFGI appreciated the efforts made by the deptt. of ECE, BFCET.

Speaking on this occasion Dr. Jasbir Singh Hundal, Director-Principal, BFCET expressed that the students should make the best use of these activities and BFCET will keep on inviting such eminent personalities from far & wide for the benefit of students in future too.
